Eugenia Belden
Nuevo León, México, 1962

 

As part of their education has ventured into various areas of art such as drawing, sculpture, painting, printmaking and ceramics.

She studied art at the School of Visual Arts at the UANL, Monterrey NL, and Llotja Massana School, Barcelona Spain, as well as various workshops within and outside the country. Her work is part of the collection of the Museum of Art and History of INBA in Juarez Chihuahua, Chihuahua Roundhouse Museum of Contemporary Art, Chihuahua. Reyes Meza Museum, Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. Institute of Mexico in San Antonio, Texas. Kociánka Institute in Brno and Museum of Contemporary Art in Ostrava, Czech Republic, among others, as well as in private collections.

Her work has been exhibited individually and collectively in various countries.

In 1999 she was awarded First Place in the IV Binational Border Competition Ford-Siqueiros-Pollock, Museum of Art and History, Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua and the 1st. Place in the Hall of Graphic Arts Originals on Pape in AC Cultural Center. In 2011 the Art Residency Fellowship FORCA Conaculta Northeast and with the "Sacred Matrix" in Poland.
